Special Relativity, developed by Albert Einstein and published in 1905, is a physics theory explaining that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, and the speed of light in a vacuum is constant for everyone, leading to concepts like spacetime, time dilation, length contraction, and mass-energy equivalence ( E=mc² ), fundamentally changing our understanding of space, time, and motion.
General Relativity, developed by Albert Einstein and published in 1915, expands these concepts by including acceleration and gravity; it describes gravity not as a force, but as a curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy. This theory predicts that massive objects warp the fabric of the universe, influencing the motion of matter and the path of light, while also establishing that gravity slows the flow of time.
An in-depth analysis of the relativistic and mathematical consequences of a modified special theory of relativity, without taking Einstein’s postulate about the constancy of the speed of light in a round trip for granted.
