Publishing in the age of the internet and AI

Aside from my own original research, it has become quite challenging to publish in-depth, accessible articles on a platform like this when Google, Wikipedia, and AI can explain any topic in exhaustive detail in seconds. Who would be interested in a contribution that is likely less accurate or comprehensive than what is already available? Perhaps no one.
However, the value may lie in the ‘human side’ of communication—the, non-technical, nuanced way information is presented. It is similar to why teachers exist, even when the textbooks are available. Yet, I don’t want to be a teacher; I simply want to reiterate the empathetic value of personal storytelling, trusting that it still resonates. Sharing knowledge is not the same as merely listing it.
An effort that would be rewarded by just a few comments from readers… or at least some post ratings…

Is there anybody out there?

  1. I think that there’s also an inner and lovely humanity in sharing knowledge that consist also in the courage to -take and- expose a position of the self in the world.

  2. I definitely agree with you, even though I believe AI is not that reliable at all. I find Wikipedia quite useful most of the times, but I always appreciated the “human touch” of many blogs.
